“Staff wanted to go over that and didn’t feel comfortable having the final version on December 19, that we had wanted to vote on,” Johnson said. “And I agreed with pushing it off to the second as well because there were opportunities to make this a little stronger than it was. We have to show that, you know, we care about how people are treated. And in government, we can do that, we can either sit back and watch or we can get involved and try to stop a bad thing that’s happening.”
