Vallejo City Council Candidate Ruscal Cayangyang will host a fundraiser on Friday for his bid to represent District 4 on the Vallejo City Council, his campaign team announced on Friday.
The fundraiser and event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., at the home of Bruce Williams, located at 109 Ohio St.
The theme of the event will be “Meet Cayangyang in May.”
There will be a minimal $27 “grassroots” suggested donation requested at the door for this event. Any and all other contributions will be welcome.
Food and libation will be served. There will be donated items to auction off. Featured event speakers will include Eloise Scott, Vallejo Filipino Community Leader.
Cayangyang currently serves as a Commissioner for the City of Vallejo Participatory Budgeting Steering Committee. He also serves as an elected Assembly District 14 Delegate representing Vallejo to the State Democratic Party. He served on the Vallejo School Board as President.
