There are two meetings today (February 5th) in the City of Two Rivers.

First up is the Committee on Aging, which will be in the Senior Center Library at 8:30 this morning to review their usual committee reports.

The City Council is slated to hold their regular meeting in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m., where they will start by holding a public hearing regarding a proposed self-storage unit on 15th Street.

Then, representatives from Tenaska, an Omaha, Nebraska-based energy company, will present their plan for a battery energy storage system facility in the Woodland Industrial Park.

Council members will be given time to ask questions following the presentation.

We will have a full report on the project tomorrow.

The council will also continue their conversation regarding the proposed community pool and will discuss a resolution naming February 11th as 2-1-1 day.
