Transportation advisory board to meet with Loveland City Council – Loveland Reporter-Herald | #citycouncil

Representatives from the city of Loveland’s Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) will appear at Tuesday’s City Council study session to discuss local transit matters and a recent survey of board members.

The TAB is one of the city’s 26 citizen advisory panels, which assist council members and staff on citywide issues.

The TAB was formed 20 years ago to review issues related to Loveland’s transportation systems and make recommendations to council on budgeting, policy and capital projects.

Currently, there are six members serving on the TAB, with one vacancy. Mayor Jacki Marsh and Councilor Jon Mallo serve as council liaisons to the board.

On Tuesday, TAB chair Kimberly Baker, vice-chair Greg Netzner and city Public Works Director Mark Jackson are scheduled to update City Council on the board’s 2021-22 work plan and progress on issues such as street funding, a regional rail project and a transit center.

There will also be a discussion of a recent survey of board members about the role and mission of the TAB, and any challenges the group faces.
