Stuart City Council Approves Use of Right of Way for Fiber Optic Project | Raccoon Valley Radio – The One to Count On


The Stuart City Council met in regular session Monday.

The Council approved a liquor license renewal for Stuart Speedway, street lighting payment for the Wambold 3rd Addition in the amount of $29,031.05, and set a time for a public hearing for considering maximum tax dollars from tax levies for the proposed 2024-25 budget. They also approved letting Coon Valley Telephone Cooperative use the right of way for completion of a fiber optic project, a $1,000 contribution to Region XII Council of Governments, heard about progress with working towards an acceptable proposal for working with Guthrie County for a countywide emergency medical service and Economic Development Director Matt Funk made presentation to the Council on the progress of the Wambold Phase Three development.
