The capital of Arkansas is offering anyone living out of state a $10,000 bonus if they move to Little Rock, thanks to a program introduced this month.
The program, introduced by the Little Rock Regional Chamber, is offering both former and new residents a personalized job match opportunity as well as a $10,000 bonus for those who do move to the city. The Chamber will also help new arrivals connect with resources and support networks to help them as they become accustomed to their new location.

“Not only is Little Rock a city to fall in love with, it’s also an amazing hub of regional career possibilities,” said Jay Chesshir, the president and CEO of the Little Rock Regional Chamber. “Our beautiful region is growing and offers a friendly, dynamic, and diverse culture. Little Rock also offers affordable housing options, making it an ideal location to build a successful and meaningful career while enjoying a high-quality life. We’re excited to encourage more people to explore what Little Rock has to offer and join us in making it even better.”
The funding of these $10,000 bonuses comes from a $1 million contribution, which was made possible by an unnamed benefactor, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Arkansas locals can also partake in this program, albeit in a different way, with not nearly as much of a cash incentive. Local Arkansas residents can refer friends and family to this program, and those who have a successful match will be eligible for up to $501.

The Chamber has partnered with multiple area employers to offer jobs to these new residents arriving thanks to the program. Employers who have partnered with this program include Arvest Bank, Baldwin & Shell Construction Company, and L’Oreal USA, among others.
For those out of state interested in applying for the program, they can do so by applying on the program’s website. Arkansas residents wanting to refer others to the program for a chance to receive up to $501 can also do so online.
