Restaurant tax information/discussion is an agenda item for the Oct. 9 Georgetown City Council meeting. This will include a presentation from Georgetown/Scott County tourism with information about a possible restaurant tax. A restaurant tax has been mentioned briefly at several council meetings as a possible way to increase revenue for the city. The Oct. 9 council meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Scott County courthouse, in the third floor Fiscal Court meeting room.
