Rebber resigns from Bee Cave City Council | #citycouncil

Bee Cave Mayor Kara King, during the City Council meeting on Tuesday, announced the resignation of Council Member Andrew Rebber, effective immediately.

He is being replaced by Jon Cobb, who served on the council from 2018-20.

Rebber has served on the council since being elected in 2022 and did not give a reason for his resignation. He said the city typically holds elections following resignations or removals, but the council made the executive decision to hire Cobb as his replacement.

“I wanted to personally thank (Rebber) for his volunteerism, for his dedication to us, to the city (and) to the council,” Mayor Kara King said during the meeting. “Thank you for your past two years of service to the city of Bee Cave.“

“Bee Cave has been very fortunate to have excellent staff across the board, top to bottom,” Rebber said during the meeting. “It makes our job a lot easier.”
