Prince Harry is “lonely and isolated” in California, according to new claims made by a Royal expert.

Phil Dampier, who has covered the Royal family for over thirty years, said he has been told that the youngest son of King Charles is feeling “quite lonely” – and added that he believes it might be part of a larger plan by his wife Meghan Markle, 42, to “isolate him”.

He said: “I’m told on good authority that he’s quite lonely. He’s quite isolated in California. Maybe that’s part of Meghan’s plan to isolate him from his friends as well as his family. I just don’t feel that he’s got a group of mates to go out and have a few beers with and unwind and relax, and talk about matey men things that we all like to do down the pub.”

Phil said Harry has “become completely dependent on her” for his social life, pointing to their outing at a Beyoncé concert and basketball matches. Dampier added that Harry never seems to be with a group of friends but with “corporate types, people that he works with” which has taken “its toll on him”.

He told GB News: “He doesn’t seem to be with a group of mates and I think this is having quite an effect on him and…when you think Christmas is coming out next month. It’s been the third Christmas he hasn’t seen his family. I think he’s becoming quite lonely and quite isolated.” Representatives for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been approached for comment.

The couple married in 2018, with their celebrity pals Idris Elba and Victoria Beckham in attendance. In 2020, they made the shocking move to leave their royal duties behind and move out of the UK, eventually settling down in Montecito, California where they live with their two kids, Archie, four and Lilibet, two.
