Nine Democrats and one Republican are currently running in the race to be Philadelphia’s 100th mayor.
With the Philadelphia primary election taking place on Tuesday, May 16, every vote will make a difference and NBC10 wants to help our viewers make an informed choice.

NBC10’s goal with our special and interviews is to hear from the candidates as much as possible, on the issues that voters care about most. You’ll also hear the candidates respond to the biggest questions, concerns and controversies surrounding their campaigns.
Crime will be a major focus. We’ll take a deep dive into the candidates’ plans to get the city’s gun violence crisis under control, tackle the opioid crisis and deal with other public safety issues.
