One of the orders banned the term “Latinx” from all government documents and titles. “We’re going to continue to evolve with these terms so we don’t even know if Latinx is the best term,” community organizer Irvin Camacho said. Latinx replaces “Latino” and “Latina” to include those who identify as non-binary. “It just kind of seems like this administration is attacking these trans folks and these non binary folks,” Camacho said.
