NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – North Platte Mayor Brandon Kelliher proclaimed this week as Scouts Anniversary Week.
The mayor made the proclamation in the city council chambers Tuesday while also expressing his appreciation to members of the Overland Trails Council and the Boy Scouts of America for their interest in and dedication to America’s youth.
The Boy Scouts of America is celebrating 114 years of scouting this year.
Scouts Week runs from Feb. 4 to Feb. 10.
