OHIO — After days of searching, Riley O’Connell, the daughter of Taunton Mayor Shaunna O’Connell, was found safe in Ohio Sunday.
“WONDERFUL NEWS FROM OHIO!!!” the mayor’s election page captioned a photo of Riley in a warm embrace outside of an emergency room.
“Riley has been found and is receiving medical attention. She is safe. Thank God.” reads the original post from Kara O’Connell.
Riley is receiving medical attention and has been reunited with her parents, the City of Taunton shared.
Riley was first reported missing from the Evoke Wellness facility in Ohio on Thursday, June 15 “where she was receiving therapy for over a month in her long-term battle with mental health issues,” Mayor Shaunna O’Connell said in a Facebook post.
