There are two meetings on the calendar to start the week in the City of Manitowoc (June 19th).

First up is the Board of Public Works, which will gather in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m.

They will take bids for a River Point District fill project before reviewing a request to add a balcony on the property located at 220 North 7th Street.

Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will take over the chambers where they will hold a badge pinning ceremony for Detective Sargent Erik Kowalski.

Then, after Mayor Justin Nickels declares June 19th as Juneteenth, the Council will review a request to spend $53,000 on security equipment for the Rahr West Art Museum and another to pave North 41st Street from Archer Street south.
