Madison County Coroner confirms death was of ‘natural causes’
The mayor of Madison announced the passing of her husband. Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler posted a picture of her and Jim Butler to Facebook Saturday, writing “I will love you forever.” According to Madison County Corner Alex Breeland, Jim Butler, 74, died Friday evening of natural causes. A funeral ceremony will be held at First Baptist Church Madison at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. The family will have a private graveside gathering following the service.
