Lynchburg’s Mayor joins cast of upcoming Into The Woods live production

From the stage in Amherst to City Hall, Lynchburg’s Mayor is doing it all.

Mayor Stephanie Reed has been chosen to lend her commanding voice to The Voice of The Giant in the upcoming production of Into The Woods, presented by Brian Clowdus Experiences.

In an announcement made on Facebook, Brian Clowdus Experiences writes, “We needed a larger than life presence, to play this larger than life role, and we are over the moon to be welcoming Mayor Stephanie Reed in this ICONIC Role!”

They go on to thank Mayor Reed for her support & star power, and her “incredible heart for the arts”.

Theatergoers attending Into The Woods will step into a living fairytale at the beautiful Edloe Glades Estate. You’ll be joined by Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and Milky The Cow; which we are told will be an actual cow. You can watch Cinderella sing on the steps of a palace entryway, and you may even fall in love with the handsome Princes on horseback. But watch your back, The Witch and The Wolf may be behind you.

The show will run from June 22 to July 9, Thursday through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
