Phil Swanson has served faithfully for nine years on the North Ogden City Council. He has proved to be a very active and valuable city councilor. It would be a shame to lose all of his experience and know-how from our city’s leadership.
We have had some good city councils in the past several years, but Phil has been a leader among leaders and is responsible for many of the good things that have taken place in North Ogden. He has gone up and beyond in his efforts to keep good communication with the community, both in his personal efforts to talk to the citizenry and his posts online.
I have attended many of our city council meetings and Phil has demonstrated an ability to make good careful decisions and to ask the right questions to help all of the Council members to come to good conclusions. Phil has a lot of experience with workings of the City and knows most of our City employees. He has overseen the City finances and strives to be careful with City funds while observing to see that each department’s functions are carried out.
He works cooperatively with the other City councilors and our excellent Mayor. We are lucky to have Phil Swanson on our North Ogden team. Let’s make sure to vote him back in office for another term.
