To the editor — Everyone says we should run government like a business.
But when the new City Council — all of whom promised during their campaigns to change the way the city runs — moved swiftly to replace the city manager, the “progressives” pitched a fit.
I hope the council stays the course. We will all benefit from decisive leadership that reins in City Hall excesses.
