Kaukauna mayor seeks fourth term in spring 2024 election

KAUKAUNA – Mayor Tony Penterman has taken out nomination papers to seek a fourth consecutive two-year term in office.

“I think I’ve got a pretty good track record of bringing in business and residential housing,” Penterman told The Post-Crescent. “I want to continue leading the city going forward.”

As of Dec. 12, no one else has taken out nomination papers for Kaukauna’s mayor race, leaving Penterman unopposed for the April 2 election.

If no one challenges Penterman in the spring election, this will be the second election in a row he will have run unopposed.

Penterman, 51, became mayor in 2018, succeeding Eugene Rosin. Before becoming the city leader, Penterman served 11 years on Kaukauna’s Common Council.
