Sarah Huckabee Sanders was sworn in as the new governor of Arkansas Tuesday morning.Sanders signed a series of executive orders after her Inaugural Address. One will create an immediate freeze on new government hiring and regulations. Other constitutional officers were also sworn in, including Leslie Rutledge as Lt. Gov.Sanders became Arkansas’ governor-elect in November when she defeated Chris Jones and Ricky Dale Harrington Jr. at the ballot box.She is now the first woman to serve as governor in the state’s history.The oaths of office was conducted on the House floor Tuesday morning.
