Godeke, Rafanan, Roberts, and Petes in the lead for City Council – Fort Bragg Advocate-News | #citycouncil


In the latest update from the Mendocino County Elections Office, challengers Jason Godeke and Michelle Roberts and incumbents Marcia Rafanan and Lindy Peters are still in the lead to win their seats on the Fort Bragg City Council.

Katrina Bartolomie, Mendocino County Clerk-Assessor-Recorder-Registrar of Voters, issued a press release on Friday stating that this would be the last update on the vote count before certifying the results.

The updated vote counts show challengers Jason Godeke with 804 votes and Michelle Roberts with 410. Incumbent Marcia Rafanan with 514 votes, and Lindy Peters, who is running for a two-year term, with 848 votes.

According to state law, the County Clerk-Assessor-Recorder-Registrar of Voters has 30 after the election to count and certify the votes.
