Vanderbilt point guard Ezra Manjon was ejected from Saturday’s game against Arkansas after shoving Arkansas guard Anthony Black behind the basket in the first half.
The ejection came after an earlier scuffle between Vanderbilt and Arkansas. That confrontation took place after the Hogs’ Kamani Johnson elbowed the Commodores’ forward Myles Stute on an inbounds play. For that play, Johnson and Vanderbilt wing Jordan Wright were each assessed technical fouls and Johnson was given a flagrant foul.
Play continued for a few minutes before Black made a basket and a common foul was called on Vanderbilt center Quentin Millora-Brown. After that foul call, Manjon shoved Black and was ejected. Commodores coach Jerry Stackhouse was also given a technical foul after yelling expletives at the official and throwing a clipboard on the sideline.
The Hogs were given seven free throws, the first of which was made by Black. Arkansas guard Ricky Council took the other six technical free throws and made four of them.
The Razorbacks lead, 42-34, at halftime.
