Vallejo City Councilmember Cristina Arriola announced the launch of her re-election campaign with an opening ceremony later this month.

The launch for Arriola’s campaign will be held at Moschetti Coffee Roasting (11 Sixth Street) on Saturday, April 20 at noon. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Born and raised in South Vallejo, Arriola was elected to represent District 6 on the council in 2020.

“During her tenure, Tina has been a fierce advocate for an historically overlooked district,” a news release from her campaign manager Emily Parker said. “Among her many accomplishments, she has facilitated repairs on Sonoma Blvd, housing in South Vallejo and welcomed new businesses to District 6.

“A Voice for the People, Tina is extremely active in the community and spends a great deal of time meeting with residents to understand their needs and concerns,” Parker continued. “She is strongly opposed to special interests and has no intention of moving up the political ladder. Her sole focus is to make her district a better place by fully supporting and fairly representing her constituents.”
