City Council to vote Monday on liquor license for Country Fair | News | #citycouncil


The upcoming regular Corry City Council meeting has a full agenda, including a resolution that would permit Country Fair to transfer a liquor license into the city.

Monday, April 15, Council is expected to receive and file six quarterly reports, one each from the Corry Fire Department, code compliance, Public Works, Corry Community Center, North Hills Municipal Golf Course and the budget versus actual city expenditures.

Two resolutions are on the docket. The first is a discrimination policy and procedures; the second is regarding the Country Fair liquor license.

Under new business, Council will vote on a Land Bank advisory recommendation regarding the property at 1075 N. Center St. Tar and chip bid results will be announced, and Council is expected to award the seal coat bid contract.

Under general business, Council will vote on an event request for July 27 —a three-on-three basketball tournament hosted by Deluxe Barber.

The public is reminded that event requests must be submitted to Council 90 days prior to an event.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers, 100 S. Center St., and by Zoom. The public is welcome.
