The Boston Mayor’s Office confirms to NewsCenter 5 that Mayor Michelle Wu was a passenger in a police vehicle that was involved in a crash on Tuesday.A source told NewsCenter 5 that the crash happened near the intersection of Hyde Park Avenue and Blakemore Street.A city spokesperson said in a statement that Wu, nor anyone else involved in the crash, suffered any major injuries.The Boston Police Department will be investigating the crash, as they do with all crashes involving departmental motor vehicles, according to the city spokesperson.
