On Monday morning, there will be a private fundraiser for DeSantis’ presidential campaign in Sacramento. A flyer for the “roundtable breakfast” says real estate developer Steven Eggert and his wife, Pamela, are hosting the event at an undisclosed location. Tickets to attend are $3,300 per person. Neither DeSantis’ campaign nor Steven Eggert have responded to interview or comment requests as of Friday afternoon. A recent Berkeley IGS poll shows DeSantis trailing former President Donald Trump in the Republican primary in California, with 44% of likely Republican voters stating they would vote for Trump and 26% stating they would pick DeSantis. DeSantis’ stop in Sacramento will be his first in California since he and his administration in Florida admitted their involvement in transporting 36 migrants from the Southern Border in Texas and dropped them off, unannounced, in Sacramento. Tickets for the reception start at $6,600. Biden is also scheduled to headline another fundraiser with tech and climate investors on Tuesday night in Marin County. Gov.
