ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Asheville’s mayor and the Buncombe County Commission Chair are set to speak during the annual State of Downtown event.
The presentation begins at 12 p.m. at Eulogy, located in the South Slope area of Asheville.
According to a press release from the Asheville Downtown Association, this year’s event will take an in-depth look into the heart of Asheville’s downtown through the lens of the Downtown Stakeholder Survey, offering feedback of the community’s views and ideas for the future.
Mayor Esther Manheimer and County Commissioner Brownie Newman are expected to speak about the city’s progress and future initiatives.
Gerren Price of the Downtown DC Business Improvement District will provide the keynote speech.
