Several Republican candidates spent Labor Day in New Hampshire — the first state to hold primary elections. Mike Pence, Vivek Ramaswamy, Will Hurd, and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson were all at events in the granite state. Hutchinson spoke at a Labor Day picnic in Salem, saying he thinks he has “a great message to the working class because jobs.” As Hutchinson says, he “created over 100,000 jobs by lowering regulation, encouraging growth in the private sector.”President Joe Biden was in Pennsylvania on Labor Day. He spoke to the sheet metal worker’s union and used the speech as a chance to highlight some accomplishments of his administration. The next GOP debate is Sept. 27 at the Reagan Presidential Valley in California, and a Democratic debate has not been set.
