SGT TREVOR LAMBERT WITH THE ARKANSAS NATIONAL GUARD TOLD ME TODAY THEY HAVEN’T SEEN MANY PEOPLE STUCK BUT YESTERDAY WAS A DIFFERENT STORY. <> Truck door closing LAST WEEK GOVERNOR SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR THE WINTER WEATHER WE RECEIVED THIS WEEKEND. SHE ALSO ACTIVATED THE ARKANSAS NATIONAL GUARD TO HELP SUPPORT STATE POLICE IN ASSISTING PEOPLE WHO GET STUCK. WHILE TODAY IS A LITTLE LESS BUSY FOR THE GUARD…SGT LAMBERT SAYS YESTERDAY THEY HAD OVER 15 REPORTS. ” it was pretty bad.
