RESULTS: Bryan Brinyark wins Special General Election for Alabama State House District 16
The Special General Election for House District 16, which includes parts of Fayette, Jefferson and Tuscaloosa counties, has come to a close.According to the unofficial election night results, Republican Bryan Brinyark, who previously won the district’s special primary runoff back in October, has beaten his Democratic opponent, John Underwood.Brinyark reportedly garnered 83.36% of the vote with 2,370 ballots cast in his favor while Underwood pulled in 469 votes or 16.50%. About the District:The seat was previously held by Republican Kyle South, who resigned in June.
