Brown between the rumor mills and some of you guys in the media, It seems like some of you just wanna, well these rumors into reality into existence, but I assure you, I am fine every day. I give thanks to God for giving me *** clean bill of health. And I look forward to serving as governor for another four years. I enjoy being governor and we’re getting *** lot done. And you’ve seen this innovation lab today. There’s certainly more work to do. So I look forward to going full speed ahead governor. Have you had any medical procedures that required an overnight hospital stay in the last month? While visiting an elementary school Monday morning, Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey was asked about recent rumors of possible health issues. Watch Ivey’s response in the video above.”It seems like some of you just want to will these rumors into reality and into existence,” said Ivey, who was visiting Dalraida Elementary School in Montgomery to tour its new STEM Innovation Lab. “But I assure you I am fine.”She was then asked if she had been hospitalized for any reason in the past month.”I’ve got a clean bill of health from the doctors. That’s what matters,” she said. “I’m looking forward to serving four more years as your governor.” Earlier this month, Ivey’s office dismissed rumors of health concerns and said she remained “healthy and cancer-free.” The 77-year-old Republican cruised to victory in Alabama’s primary election in May and will face Democrat Yolanda Flowers in the November general election.
