Arkansans cast ballots in 2022 primary elections
We’ll be here from 7:30 to 7:30 as *** poll judge Elizabeth Beckman had *** lot of work to do getting her voting center ready for Tuesday. My parents were poll workers and judges for the for the Sebastian County Election Commission. And so I I thought, well why not following my parents footsteps, we struggle with getting enough poll workers and judges. So it’s, I feel like it’s uh the least I could do This election. There are 14 voting centers in Crawford County Sissy High. It has been *** poll worker there for 20 years today. She made sure everything was set up just right to make it easy for voters to cast their ballots. My husband tells me I’m not *** drill sergeant. He said quit telling everybody what to do. Now here in Sebastian County, the election coordinator says about 9% of registered voters participated in early voting and it’s similar numbers over in Crawford County. Now of course not everyone likes to vote early tonight at six. Why? One person says they like to wait until it’s election day to cast their ballot Live in Fort Smith Brett Rains 40 29 News
