HE SAYS DURING A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, ABOUT 65 PERCENT OF ARKANSAS VOTERS SHOW UP TO THE POLLS…FOR A NON PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IT’S ABOUT HALF… 50 PERCENT WHO DECIDE STATE AND LOCAL ISSUES. THIS ELECTION EVERY STATE OFFICE IS ON THE BALLOT, FROM GOVERNOR TO ALL 35 STATE SENATORS AND 100 STATE REPRESENTATIVES. <> “for midterm elections, the state and district level positions, in my personal opinion, are going to affect you and you’re situation more with who’s elected, because you have your state legislators, you have your constitutional officers that are directly over certain areas of the state.” <> “I think when light voter turnout comes out then it doesn’t express everybody’s feelings and beliefs about the election so that’s why we need to always try and get everyone to come out and vote.” <> “it’s a serious problem.” “the local elections, those are the most important, those are the ones that go on and make the national decisions that take place.
