Sunstar Insurance Group, LLC is merging with Evins Insurance Group of Jonesboro. The merger will be Sunstar’s ninth expansion in five years.
Sunstar Insurance Group effectively blankets the state of Arkansas with a comprehensive insurance network comprised of industry veterans. Based in Memphis, the company was founded in 2012 by Chairman and CEO David “Casey” Bowlin and has swiftly grown to become the 32nd largest property and casualty insurance agency in the U.S., as ranked by Insurance Journal. Sunstar announced the formation of a new partnership with Campbell & Company Insurance in 2021, and a merger with Springdale-based insurance group, the Farris Insurance Agency back in 2020.
Evins Insurance Group of Jonesboro brings an experienced staff, including President Chris Evins and VP/General Manager Drew Nadzam.

The Sunstar Arkansas team now has a roster of 94 employees working from twelve locations across Arkansas.
