Sebastian County, Arkansas judge candidate accused of felony


A candidate for Sebastian County judge is facing a felony charge, according to court records filed Friday.Denny Altes, 73, is facing a charge of abuse of public trust. No other details regarding the charge were in the records. The violation date was listed as Feb. 21, 2022.County prosecutor Daniel Shue wrote in a news release Friday that his office has not been involved in investigating the case and each of the circuit judges in the Twelfth District recused themselves.
