Initiative will bridge digital divide and secure connectivity to previously unserved areas
WHAT:
Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings will announce that nearly 1400 addresses in the Bithlo/Christmas and South Apopka areas now have access to high-speed broadband internet. Through funding from the American Recovery Act Plan of 2021 and a partnership with Charter Communications, Orange County continues its commitment to connectedness across the County.
