This is the second time that Milwaukee mayor Cavalier Johnson has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement from the mayor’s office, they say that Mayor Johnson took a home COVID shortly afterwards that produced a positive result.Mayor Johnson’s office says he will be isolating for the coming days and his symptoms are very mild. They add that the Mayor has been tested on at least five occasions this week, and Friday’s is the only test that returned a positive result. Johnson also tested positive back in January 2022, when he was acting mayor. He is vaccinated and boosted.
